Sustainability at Al Raha Village

At Al Raha Village, environmental sustainability is at the heart of our design philosophy. Given the scale of this project, we recognize its potential impact on energy consumption and the surrounding environment. That’s why a comprehensive study was conducted to minimize energy use and harness natural resources such as sunlight and wind to create a more sustainable living environment.

Smart Design for Energy Efficiency

Following expert analysis, the orientation and layout of the buildings were carefully planned to optimize natural ventilation and minimize direct sunlight exposure during the summer months. This strategic positioning reduces reliance on mechanical cooling, lowering energy consumption while enhancing comfort for residents.

Shading & Cooling Innovations

To further reduce cooling loads, shading solutions have been integrated into the architectural design. All building openings are protected with clustered panels, a technique inspired by traditional Islamic architecture. This not only provides effective shading but also ensures privacy and a comfortable indoor environment.

Water & Waste Management

In addition to energy efficiency, Al Raha Village prioritizes responsible water usage and waste management. Specialized studies were conducted to implement measures that reduce water consumption and promote sustainable waste disposal practices, contributing to a greener and more eco-friendly community.

Through these initiatives, Al Raha Village stands as a model of sustainable living, where innovative design meets environmental responsibility.

Recreational Facilities

The building interiors have many recreation spaces and are well distributed to cater for all tenants.

Retail Stores

A total area of 1600 sqm has been designated as retail outlets and are located at ground level of the buildings

Mess Hall

Includes an international standard kitchen with an internal area of 560 sqm, and a mess hall with an area of 2700 sqm

Medical Center

A 24/7 functioning medical center provides first aid and basic medical treatments for all the tenants.

Security & Safety

The buildings were designed with Security being a key factor.

Transportation Hub

An easy accessible bus park is located right outside the boundaries of the project.
